Passing into the threshold of later twenties means an opportunity to wear heels and dress in black... ....in order to eat at the Prudential golden arch.
...but we didn't in fact go there because we were headed here, to The "Top of the Hub," a restaurant on the top floor of the Prudential building in Boston. It's not Kendall's, but it will do. Tom is suave, I guess. Beet salad is also suave.
Lara went to Prom this past weekend so I thought this deserved a post for several reasons. 1. Since my family finally signed up for satellite Internet, Lara has had the benefit of online shopping. She ordered her prom gloves from China. How did those make it all the way to Idaho? 2. I wore this dress to prom in high school, but I seemed to have been mislead by lace an bangs. Brown is a better accessory. 3. I just don't have enough Lara on my blog.
I was a little bored this afternoon and I found an empty picture frame so I decided to try painting. I don't know what this is, but I think it is funny. So I am going to hang it on my wall and call it "Giant Blueberries" or "Hangman" or "Blue orbs in the abyss." Any other ideas?
