It is official. I booked my flight today for India and I will be there for two months starting March 3rd. I found a fabulous volunteer opportunity in Dehradun working on a video for a boys school and home. Watch for a link to a separate blog that will give more detailed updates of my journey.
The timecode of dripping honey.
C-stand.
Moody Seattle days that we live for.

This is my second ride this winter and I prepared better for round two by wearing leg warmers over ski socks, yoga pants under jogging pants, long johns under ninja shirt. I am basically doing at least five sports at once.

The holga: most photogenic camera.

Undeniably hipster.
Winter reprieve.
I knew aliens were real.

V-day.

UW concert band performs "Heart Music" on Valentine's day. Not sure why they called the concert heart music because the songs were entitled "Scenes from the Louvre" and "Irish Tune From County Derry." Unless they were referring to the sentimental feelings I have for my friends performing.

Heart Ken.

Heart Jon.

Ken and Jon heart this car.

You might think my sad face is due to the seven shots I received in my arms this past week. But it is actually due to my dissatisfaction with health care and that my insurance, which as a healthy person I never get to use, doesn't cover vaccination. Who knew rabies prevention could cost so much?
Vinyl dance party with the Christian and Layne DJ duo.

Hands down best music selection ever.

Nothing brings more joy to my heart than to see a room full of friends doing art and spying on Collin looking at recent issues of Dwell.

The gallery of our work and special Swedish dessert prepared by Steph.
Rock Band. The elixir of life.
Last weekend I saw my friend's son, Chase, in a Broadway Bound production of Bugsy Malone. I have decided that children's theater is one of the most amusing forms of entertainment and I plan on going to as many productions as possible in the future.

Still surviving winter by drinking hot cocoa. This time mexican hot chocolate.

Christian and Ken took turns reading fishing lores outloud.

My job is fire gazing.
A birthday celebration at Noah's beach house in Indianola. If you look closely, you will see a few pieces of classic modern furniture. Beauty.

Pop rocks sound off. Maybe I can get a copy of the audio recording for a pop rocks remix.

I am hoping to recreate this room at some point in my life.

Alex prepares pasta so artfully you can't even see his hands.

A treasure hunt on the beach in the dark. (I bet you are all jealous that you don't have this much fun with your co-workers.)

A prize from said treasure hunt.

Ferry ride to Indianola.
